TransSearch is a database of past translations: it gives you access to millions of sentences that have been translated between English and French.

It is a bilingual concordancer: You submit a word or expression in English or French; TransSearch displays all the sentences in which they appear, along with their translation.

This system is a writer’s assistant: originally intended for translators,it is a gold mine of information for all those who write in English or French. TransSearch is particularly useful when writing in the language that is not your mother tongue.
