The Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interpr?tes agr??s du Qu?bec is an order with a reserved title representing nearly 1,900 members, all of whom are
certified language professionals.
As part of its mandate to protect the public, the Order has adopted the following mission: to ensure and promote the competence and professionalism of its members in the fields of translation, terminology and interpretation.
Mission
In issuing a permit, the Order attests to the competence and professionalism of an individual holding the title of certified translator, terminologist or interpreter,
thereby fulfilling its mandate to protect the public.
Its mission is to foster and ensure the distinctive quality of its members' services and promote the titles that stand for this quality.
The Order aims to become Qu?bec's reference and gathering point for the domains of translation, terminology and interpretation.
