ANITI is a professional, non-profit organization founded in Milan on 27 April 1956 under the name of SNITI, National Union of Italian Translators Interpreters.
Today it is one of the largest professional association of translators and interpreters in Italy.
The Association works to put into practice legislative regulation about translation and interpreting, and pursues the enhancement of professionalism of its members. It aims to clarify the relationship between professional translators and agencies, and wants a fair and uniform regulation for court translators and the recognition of fair compensation.
The website ANITI is not offered in English.
